On Sunday, October 27th, several of our students traveled to George Washington University with Professor Hsin-hsin Liang and visiting instructor Wenyi Chu to compete in the Jiangsu Cup speech competition. The contest involved giving a 1 minute self-introduction, a 3 minute speech, and a 4 minute Q&A in Chinese. 

Our students did very well, winning the following awards: 

Bronze awards: Petra Wagner and Je Won Jung

Silver Award: Daniel Justus 

Gold Awards: Sam Gruber and Jonathan Weinstein
