UVA Japanese student Elton Ho, currently a third year physics major, has been accepted to the University of Tokyo Research Internship program to study research and development of particle detectors with renowned scholar Hiroaki Aihara. He will spend 6 weeks in Tokyo this summer with other selected students from around the world. The airfare and cost of living will be covered by various scholarships they provide, so Elton will be staying in Japan at no cost. Congratulations Elton!
