UVA Chinese Corner Returns This Fall
The UVA Chinese Corner is back for the fall semester! More than 40 students, faculty, and friends of the Chinese program gathered for the first Chinese Corner of the semester on Friday, September 11, for an afternoon of conversation, connection, and Chinese culture.
The first gathering was a wonderful chance to reconnect after the summer, meet new friends and teachers, and enjoy Chinese food and tea together. In a relaxed and welcoming setting, students had the opportunity to use Chinese outside the classroom while getting to know other members of the UVA Chinese language community.
Chinese Corner will continue throughout the semester, offering students a fun and informal space to speak Chinese, make connections, and experience Chinese language and culture beyond the classroom. Whether you are a beginning learner or an advanced speaker, everyone is welcome!
