Congratulations to Miao-fen Tseng, as UVA STARTALK celebrates its 10th anniversary.  Miao-fen Tseng, an associate professor of Chinese in our department and the director of the Institute of World Languages in the School of Arts & Sciences, has brought Summer Chinese STARTALK Teacher/Student Academy to the University.  Since its inception in 2008, the program represents over one million dollars in funding from the federal government. It has received national recognition for its success and excellence in creating meaningful experiences in blended and online learning for students while advancing Chinese language educators' career development. We congratulate her for directing the program for ten important years!
