General facts:
The placement test consists of two parts: reading/writing and an oral interview. The reading/writing test normally takes 90 minutes and an oral interview is 5-7 minutes long. There are two types of the test. For students who wish to fulfill their language requirement, please take “Type E”. For students who wish to take Korean course, please take “Type P”

When:

Friday, January 10, 2014.

Reading/writing: 10:00-12:00pm 

Oral interview: 1:00-3:00pm (individually done)

Where:

New Cabell Hall, Room 056

What should you bring to the test?

Please bring TWO photo IDs, pencils, and erasers. You will not be allowed to take the test if you do not have appropriate photo IDs.

When will you know the results?

Using the last 4-5 digits of student IDs, placement test results will be posted on the Korean language bulletin board later on the test day.

Who to contact: 

If you plan to take a Korean placement/exemption test, you MUST sign up before taking the test. A sign-up sheet is posted on the door of room (CAB164) a week before the test date. If you have questions, contact Jung Hee Kim at junghee@virginia.edu.
